Villa with Lake View

The construction of this villa blends in harmoniously in the sloping landscape of the secluded property at Lake Starnberg. Towards the road, the building presents an introverted, self-contained structure, whereas the rear opens up to the lake. The focus of the generous suite is the two-storey residential space, whose floor-to-ceiling windows seem to resolve the corner of the building and give direct access to the garden. The slightly angled façade generates spatial tension and at the same time offers the screening required to preserve individual privacy. The different free spaces that result from this create a wide rage of residential quality. The view of the lake is especially fascinating thanks to the framing in the wooden façade.
