The redesign of the company's 2,300 m² headquarters in Hamburg's SPRINGER QUARTER was implemented for a pan-European investment manager and developer.
In addition to classic workstations, the office concept includes a reception area, conference rooms with modern media technology and a working café as a place for community and meeting. The office space was planned on two floors, the second level is accessed via a central stair sculpture in the reception area.
The polygonal spatial structure of the corridor, which opens up and expands again for special zones, is set off and deliberately contrasted with the lighter office spaces by dark ceiling and floor coverings.
The color concept, which is largely monochrome in soft gradations, is given depth by the high-quality materials and surface treatments. In addition to large-scale Pietra Grey natural stone cladding, brushed solid wood parquet and leather wall coverings, there are material accents in bronze, textile and tinted glass.
Overall, the detailed design in form and materiality subtly yet impressively conveys the high standard of finishing in the spirit of Hamburg understatement.
Task:
workspaces / communication zones as open space offices, phone boxes, focus rooms, informal meeting rooms for activity-based working as well as coworking spaces in the working cafes
