For Taylor Wessing, the internationally renowned law practice, and inspired by the company’s corporate identity, we developed the interior design for the new offices at Isartor, a central location with a view of Munich’s Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady). In addition to the generously-proportioned reception area with its gallery, the conference area, the library, the communication and recreation zones and the offices of all 180 lawyers were reconstructed.
Contemporary yet timeless, openness and transparency are reflected in the restrained colour scheme in bright white and greige tones and the intentional simplicity in form and material. There is plenty of room for art, provided by the expansive white areas, which are ideal for fixed installations and temporary exhibitions. The light-globes under the skylight seem to float weightlessly, setting small, fine accents in the otherwise purist design.
