Already one of Munich’s most prestigious addresses, Maria-Theresia-Strasse occupies an exceptional position. Situated opposite the Maximilian Park, the city’s most beautiful villas are to be seen here. The stately buildings of the ‘Gründerzeit’ (the late Wilhelminian period) – including the buildings of Kings Maximilian I and II, Counts Montgelas and Törring, and the industrial magnates Diesel and Maffai – were the inspiration for the design of Maria-Theresia-Strasse 4: generously sized and comfortable, they combine representative qualities and private requirements in a home that inspires enthusiasm for decades.
The entrance reflects the aspiration of the fine address. The combination of high-grade materials such as bronze-finished metals and marble, with diverse surface structures enlivened by an innovative lighting concept, gives the room delightfully varying moods. The consistently high-grade design continues through the entire building – from the underground garage to the roof terrace, from door handle to spatial flow. The result is a place that does not necessarily meet the tastes of the majority but rather corresponds to the sense of aesthetics.
