In the second row back, on restricted ground and surrounded by old trees, stands this new building, a pure and simple residential house in an old quarter of Bogenhausen. Simple in its form language and elegant in appearance, it is perfectly integrated in the available building space. Less is more – flowing, open rooms in the Modernist style of Mies van der Rohe, and the living and dining area with its floor-to-ceiling windows is arranged around the generous terrace area. With few openings to the directly adjacent house – narrow ribbon windows and just a colour-accented entrance area – the whole building faces the garden. A maximum of generous space and privacy in a minimum of space.
