Project presentation icampus Rhenania

The new (still to be completed) iCampus Rhenania is intended to offer its users optimum conditions for an innovative working environment and contribute to a sense of identity for the whole works district. Landau + Kindelbacher has been commissioned to carry out a general renovation of the listed former administration building of the Rhenania company. The neoclassical two-storey hipped-roof building with pilaster structure and Mercury relief in the archway above the entrance was built around 1920. One focal point of the planning competition of 2017 was to renovate the historical building in keeping with its age and to integrate it into the ensemble in its design and use. The charm of the historic ambience completes the overall contemporary concept
