Visitors are conducted through the foyer and an expansive installation of bronze lamellae, representative and simultaneously timeless in appearance and materiality. The verticality of the striking atrium is reinforced by accentuated illumination and art, and gives the existing building a new identity.
The sculptures of the artist Hajo Forster are of a remarkable size: “Harmonie” is six metres plus its pedestal, and “Unendlichkeit” (infinity), 1.6 metres wide and four metres long, also dominates the foyer.
