A dedicated Construction Manager (m/f/d) for demanding residential construction
About us:
We are an internationally renowned, owner managed practice located in a prime location in Munich at Lenbachplatz. With over 60 architects and interior architects, we form an interdisciplinary team whose sophisticated projects have received multiple awards. Founded in 1994 by Gerhard Landau and Ludwig Kindelbacher, the strength of our practice lies in thinking architecture and interior architecture holistically and planning seamlessly across disciplines.
We are looking for:
With immediate effect, for our office in the heart of Munich, to expand our team.
Your responsibilities:
Execution and efficient management of demanding projects, including project and budget responsibility, across service phases 6–8 (HOAI)
Responsibility for construction supervision and acceptance of all trades on site
Ensuring cost effective, quality driven and on schedule project delivery
Coordination, control and integration of specialist planners and all project participants, including documentation of construction progress
Acting as the central interface between clients, specialist planners, authorities and executing contractors
Monitoring execution in accordance with planning documents, standards and regulations
Identification of construction defects and supervision of their rectification
Your profile:
Successfully completed university degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering
At least 10 years of professional experience in service phases 6–8
Sound knowledge of VOB, HOAI, relevant standards and building regulations
Strong assertiveness, negotiation skills and an independent, responsible working style
High cost awareness, technical precision and a strong attention to detail
Confident appearance, analytical and forward thinking mindset, strong communication skills internally and externally
Proficient use of common software applications, in particular MS Office, MS Project and Orca; Archicad skills are an advantage
Very good communication skills; German at C1 level and good written and spoken English
