Adjoining the permanent Neue Sammlung exhibition area devoted to design the new exhibition area for international contemporary jewelry was set up beneath the central rotunda in Pinakothek der Moderne.
For the most part the existing architectural structure was kept, accentuated by a just a few alterations.
The central element in the concept is the minimalist showcases, which, in addition to providing a display of the filigree exhibits, create the lighting atmosphere in the entire room.
