The concept can be seen as a reaction to the genius loci of the Englischer Garten and the existing buildings of the architect Wiedemann. The new auditorium reflects the Allianz maxim through the architectural design of the foyer and the auditorium (way, nature, light) and the open communicative and transparent design of the Business Communication Center, the Lounge and the break-out rooms.

The routing is in the style of the winding paths of the Englischer Garten. A person moving through this architecture will want to venture along new paths and leave the beaten track. Nature becomes a part of the building and can be felt in the interior: “green walls” in the foyer areas as a tangible element of the auditorium. Sustainability and respect for nature as an important principle of the new Allianz auditorium become discernible. A comfortable indoor climate is created. The lighting is inspired by the atmosphere under the trees of the Englischer Garten. Reflected light brightens the public areas, and the lighting atmosphere reflects the positive feeling that arises when walking under trees.
